What an absolutely glorious day in May for the wedding of these two wonderful people. Starting the day at Katie's family home, I had the pleasure of seeing what a close, loving family they were. It was extra special for Katie to get ready there for her wedding because it had recently been sold as her parents were moving to a new home. The people in it today would have provided some of the best memories I am sure, with her Parents, Brother, Cousins, and two best friends all in attendance. All that was missing was her husband to be, but we would catch up with him later on!
They tied the knot at St. Annes church in Ormskirk in front of a congregation of family and friends and with the best group of girls singing the hymns. I later learned that these were more of Katie's school friends which makes it even more special. Then we were off to Farrington Lodge in Preston where the sun continued to shine whilst we got to spend some time making some photos in the shade of some of the surrounding trees.
Back indoors for the meals where the food was excellent, the speeches were amazing and the party into the evening was only just getting going when it was time for me to leave. I'm sure it's pretty rare in life to find two people who, as an outsider, I can honestly say are perfectly suited to each other. It was my pleasure to be able to capture their day, and hopefully the memories will last as long as the photos.
Thanks guys, you were amazing!
